New Waves with Nino Splash

It's no secret that cities like Philadelphia are famous for giving us talented individuals, especially ones in the music industry. 

Today, we'll be focusing on just one of those individuals. 

Nino Splash, dedicated recording artist.

SO WHERE DO YOU COME FROM AND WHO ARE YOU?

"So my name is Nino Splash, and I'm originally from Philadelphia, PA. 

I moved to Coatesville, PA, about 45 minutes outside of Philly, when I was younger.

Music has always been a focus for me, my whole life, 

I started rapping about 15 years ago and I never stopped, obviously.

I get my influences from a lot of places, the people that I get inspiration from though are:

Max B,

Bone Thugs n Harmony, 

Wiz Khalifa, 

and French Montana, 

just to name a few. 

To be honest, those are only the hip hop artists that I like, 

I love rock n roll too and I hope you can hear it influence my sound."

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOUR MUSIC CAREER GOING?

 "As far as possible to be honest, I want it to do things for me I couldn't even dream of.

I always liked to say that I'm the voice of the people,

I feel like I'm the voice for the person who might be to afraid to speak out

or maybe they don't think that their voice is important

I want to be the voice of the "unkwown". 

I want to win Grammy's, awards, I want the fame and there's nothing wrong with that. 

I want to be legendary.

Collaboration with more people than just rappers is also something that is a must, 

like when Jay Z did with Linkin Park, that was a big inspiration for me. 

I can see this path leading into acting, like Pac and Cube did. 

I want the full ride, it's not just about money or one specific goal for me.

ANY NEW PROJECTS THAT THE PEOPLE SHOULD LOOK OUT FOR?

I'm releasing a tape called 20whaTever, which will be coming very soon.

Also look out for another called The Zodiac, 

it's mixtape coming that's going to be R&B, so you know it's going to be smooth, 

but also different.

I also work with this group that I want to introduce to the world, 

I feel like I can give them a head start by teaching them everything I wish I knew when I started my career as a recording artist.

They have their own mixtape coming and we have a group one together that will be released after their initial tape. 

And there's one more coming called Splash Mountain.

It's so much music that we've been working on, it's actually nothing but big projects. 

I always had the quality in my music, but not the quantity, I didn't have a lot for people to listen to.

So now I'm releasing what I'm hoping is 15 tapes this year. 

Maybe more. 

I want to flood the airwaves so that people get used to seeing my name.
